I just tried pushing my 6505+ a bit more. I got the lead channel to 3 on post gain (its alot). Everytime I dont 100% hold the strings, the tiny sounds start squeling like hell and hurt my ears. Could a noise gate kill this? Is it my only option? This is normal?

thanks in advance

why dont you turn the pre gain up a bit instead the volume button?

IMO it's 100% normal

when i'm putting my amp on like 5 ( 15W starter amp ) it also does that xD

and the amp at school is the same ( crate flex 65 112 )

yeah I thought it was normal.

Just to clarify, on a 6505+ the pre gain is your regular gain, and post gain is the volume. I just wanted to crank it up a bit and hear teh t0nEz.

Noise gate or what is the solution?

EDIT: ^ oh ok

My Grunge Pedal used to do that to my Twin Reverb. Used a noise gate. It shut the hell up. now it's pleasant.

I saw Pantera live once, Dime changed into a body bag right there on stage.

A noise gate could help some with out of crontol feedback, but if your amp is loud enough you'll get feedback no matter what, even with a super clean tone. Try moving away from your amp a little or just facing away from the amp when you play at higher volumes. That can help too.

why would you play on 3 on the volume ( post gain ) ?

it's way too loud XD

when i tested it, it was too fuking loud on pg on 1.5 O_o

i thought when i put it on 5, i was blowing away through the walls XD

yeah it is, I had earplugs, duh cost 25e, their 'better'. They really are And yeah I just wanted to hear the amp a bit more cranked. And yes, my neighbours heard that most certainly. And no, I dont have neighbours 'behind the wall'.
