do you have an extra humbucker mounting spring?
then clip off about a 1-centemeter length and drop it into the hole

this cures the wobble in the tremolo arm. the little looseness you might get even when you tighten the tremolo-arm-nut all the way down.

didn't open the link but wouldn't that start making noise after a while? Metal on metal screeching sound? Like a fat ugly chick with braces that inhales helium like food?

What about something like a toothpick or sliver of wood?

otherwise - thanks for sharing

drop a small piece of foam in the hole, if you want a noise free version (although i bet that little spring is pretty quiet.

I've heard heat shrink is a useful way to stop the tremolo arm wobble

You'll find whisky very different, but try it and you'll grow into it, soon you and whisky are one, but still two, lovers dancing across a frozen lake under moonlight, wrapped in honey and warmth.

Sums up whisky perfectly

The spring is what is used on strat trems. There's a little spring that you drop in the trem hole so it tightens. Thats why there's a little sticker over the trem hole!
