Hey guys. I am currently wondering what i should put in my rig to make things a bit better than they are now.

My current set up is in my sig.

Delay maybe?

I play metal, thrash, metal core etc.

Thanks

Well distortion is out of the question. Just stuff that is recommended really, for lead and rhythm.

Got a tuner, and i was thinking of a EQ, but how would this effect my tone?

Delay and EQ.

Any old boss delay is fine and MXR 10-band EQ seems to be the stock answer as far as EQ goes

EDIT: An eq lets you further smooth out the rough parts of your tone in ways that aren't possible just using your amps EQ

MXR Micro amp is always handy to have in a pedal board.
You won't believe the amount of solo's i have missed out on hearing just because that simple pedal isn't being used.

not a fan of chorus, thanks to my other guitarist, he used way too much and now i hate the sound of it.
