Hey guys,

Schecter Jeff Loomis vs Dean Rusty Cooley RC7

I was thinking about buying either of these two guitars but I am not really sure. Can you guys help me out? Positives and negatives.. They are both at same price. (one grand)

Thanks in advance,

Rock on!

I'd go with the Schecter, they generally give more bang for their buck.
Signature guitars are usually a bit overpriced though.
Ceci n'est pas une signature.

no doubt those two guitars have different tones . its up to you which tone you like better!
watch some youtube videos to hear each one's tone.

to me Dean Rusty Cooley RC7 is the better one.

The schecter has a tighter tone, that helps alot with 7 strings, plus the Loomis comes in fixed bridge and fr. One more thing the rc7 looks really weird with the horns shaped so differently

The loomis has a set neck that is carved away, IMO thats much better then a bolt on neck

hmm also, do they have non-tremolo Jeff Loomis in red? Black one is totally terrible.. I looked at guitar center's website and apparently they do not have it funny thing is that they don't have the cheap rusty cooley rc7 at all

I wanted non tremolo because it is extra hundred bucks and I can buy a hardcase instead of that and plus I don't like to use the tremolo and it is a pain for me when changing strings...
