I have a planet waves headstock tuner. It works great but the only problem is that when I would remove it from the headstock (quite roughly), it left a few scratches right on top of the Gibson logo. Does anyone have any clue as to how I can get rid of these scratches? I should add that I am now removing the tuner in a more "civilized" manner.

Depends on what the finish on it is and how deep the scratches are.

Find out the finish type; nitrocellulose etc and google "_____ scratch repair"

If the scratches are very fine and shallow, you could polish them out.
pics? how bad are the scratches?

The only real answer to the SG vs Les Paul debate is to get a Flying V and laugh at all the suckers who don't have one.
