EDIT: Takamine ftw. I haven't played a new Fender acoustic I've liked. Ibanez acoustics I don't like much either. Very dull sounding.

As far as budget acoustics go, Yamaha and Takamine take the cake. All the time. I have a '70s FG350 that still gets played every day, and still sounds great.


EDIT: Actually, Epi makes very good budget acoustics, too. I was pleasantly surprised with them.

have a look at Luna or Washburn guitars if you see them, they're REALLY good guitars

Sounds about right. I don't like Fender acoustics that much, I'd go for the Takamine.
