Wanting a new pair of inline skates for general transport. Plastic wheels are more hard wearing but rubber wheels are more comfortable. Preferences/suggestions?

I'd go for rubber.. just because of the grip you'll get. I'd imagine hard plastic's no good on wet pavement.

Or you could walk. That's completely free.
