(This was actually yesterday but I can't find my camera charger so I had a friend take pics for me.)

What's this?

ZOMG IT'S AN RG 7620!!!!

The whole family

This is my first 7 string guitar and so far I love it.

This is also my first Japanese Ibanez as well as my first with a real Wizard neck (the other 2 are Wizard 2's).

Specs (All details are from my own inspection with the exception of the pickups and the paint job.)
24 Fret Maple Wizard 7 Neck
Rosewood Fretboard (darkest rosewood I've ever owned)
Basswood body
Dimarzio New 7 pickups (thank you jemsite!)
Edge Lo Pro Tremolo
5 way selector switch
Gotoh tuners

This is hands down the most comfortable neck I have ever played. The stock pickups (Dimarzio New 7's, not Blazes contrary to belief) are surprisingly good (my only gripes with the pickups is the bridge isn't hot enough to me, the neck is slightly muddy and THEY NEED MOAR MIDZZZZZZ; in short, I will most likely change them come summer, but I still need some more time to figure this all out.).

This is a '98 model RG 7620 with an Ibanez Lo Pro Edge tremolo. The previous owner swapped the bar with a replacement screw in bar, but he had it set too high so I removed it for now (haven't bothered putting it back in yet).

In addition, Ibanez purists may have noticed that this is sort of a gun metal silver/gold color (which Ibanez didn't offer in '98). This is a secondary paint job, but let me tell you, if the original owner hadn't told me, I never would have known. This paint job is remarkably good (the pictures don't do it justice).

The Lo Pro Edge was a little high when I got it, so I lowered it a little, and adjusted the springs in the back accordingly. After using a ZR for so long (on my S320), while this was a little more difficult to figure out, once I understood the mechanics of it it was just as easy to set up.

All in all, I'm extremely happy with this guitar. Already my 6 strings feel weird to me. Once I got used to that extra string everything else just feels unnatural now.

Pros:
7 string
pretty good stock pickups (especially for Ibanez)
Bridge wasn't too hard to set up and stays in tune really well
The guitar is still holding strong considering that it's 13 years old.
Neck is extremely comfortable

Cons
Wish it had a maple fretboard
Owner removed the original arm holder and bar (I prefer a screw in to push, but he installed the screw in arm holder wayyyy too high so the bar felt unnatural.)
6 string guitars feel funny now

Not bad for $350 (it came with the pictured hardshell case too).

$350!? That's a sick deal man. About as sick as my $120 RG570!
I am so jealous. I need a 7 string really bad. My 6 was in drop G# a couple weeks ago.
I want a 7621 so bad.

You got a RG 570 for $120?

Good god, deal of the century right there!

What's wrong with the Lo Pro Edge?

EDIT: Nevermind. I misread that as a 7620.

7420 comes with a TRS right?
