Hey guys.

This is a rock/metal remix I did with a friend for the music from one of the boss battles from the game Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door about a year and a half ago. We both handled the production together, and I was on guitar and bass duties. Please, let me know what you think! I'll drop you a crit on yours if you leave a link to it.

Song's on my profile, riiiiight here

and a remix is when you re-mix the original. this would be a cover, arrangement, or re-make.

sounds pretty decent though. could use some improvement like with the guitar tones and the mixing. the huge volume increases from different instrument sounds are the main flaw.

but overall pretty good. I don't know the original, but like this one

Strangely enough, today I've been dreaming about playing the Super Mario world - athletic theme on piano. You should make that as a guitar version, that'd be cool.

Very good cover, paper mario kicks ass! I listened to this 3 or 4 times haha really good job mate No guitar playing flaws as far as i'm concerned, i liked your guitar tones and the arrangement suited the track and flowed well.

Production generally wasn't terrible but could use some work. Some of the sound effects are way too loud and the ending guitar thing was too loud too. I think the guitar also could have done with being layered more to give the whole mix a fuller richer sound.

The drums sounded good, maybe give the kick a bit more of a punch though? It kinda gets lost in the mix, probably because of muddniess caused by the bass and guitar frequencies, that is usually the case anyways.

Awesome cover man, nice one check out my metal cover of a zelda track? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1427859
