I am trying to hook a G string through my Fx Loop while using other effects pedal through it as well. When I hook it up the way many say too it has a huge volume drop when i switch the effects loop on. Totally unplayable. When I use the pedal in front of the amp they all play well but it just cuts my tone slightly more then i would like. I will include a pic of my set up and maybe you could tell me why this is happening or a better way to connect the pedals. Thank you very much for your time.

using nines for drop C# is like stringing the guitar with spaghetti

On my Decimator, I have the ISP going to send from your blue line. Try switching the send and returns around.

Also there may be a send/return volume level on the back of the amp
