If i ran my boss ge7 pedal in the effects loop could this possibly give me a tighter sound?
I run a screamer in front of my 6505 which tightens it up massively, but im not totally happy with the tone i get from the eq in front of the amp. I often have the level high on the eq but the amp hum begins to get ridiculous.

IIRC if the EQ pedal is in the effects loop, the pedal has more effect

just get a good noise gate, that's a more easy sollution

as boss pedals are a bit ( a lot? ) noisy

using nines for drop C# is like stringing the guitar with spaghetti

Sweet i'll try that. Usually it's the first in front of my amp.
Would you recommend running the level of the eq on full? i know its loud but tomorrow im going try run my ns-2 through front of my amp and fx loop at once. Heard there is huge differences

I run an MXR Ten band EQ in my Peavey 5150 effects loop and boost it out front with a TS808. I feel the EQ in th effects loop improves the tone drastically.
