Does anyone know how to loosen the whammy bar fitting on the Floyd Rose Special Bridge on the Alexi-200? Just bought it and I can't find anywhere to adjust it. Cheers.

The piece around the bass of the bar, you loosen it a bit to loosen the bar. Loosen it all the way to take the bar off.

The whammy bar I got with the guitar doesn't actually have any of those things..

Did you buy the guitar used? When I looked at the ESP site, that's the style of trem arm it's supposed to have.
Post a picture of your bridge.

You just showed the exact type of whammy bar that was shown to you...
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

The one I showed is just smooth. Doesn't have the [technical term] at the bottom and [technical terms] on the sides that Koshman posted. Or am I missing something?

Stick the bar in that hole, then twist the peice with grooves cut it in to the right.

I think I'm getting misunderstood. The whammy bar won't fit in the bridge. I was wondering if there's a way to loosen the fitting, so the trem arm will actually go in.
For example, the Edge III trem has a thing to tighten and loosen it with an allen wrench, just below where the arm fits in.

If the bar doesn't fit in the hole it's the wrong bar. You just put it in and tighten the collar. Guitar shops are known to lose trem bars. They probably just gave you one they thought would work.

Ah right, thanks. That's two issues I've had with them. I'll have to email. Cheers for the help.

Try to get a whole new bar and the socket piece that attaches to the bridge :P
