So we booked a gig next friday and the other guitarist had to back out today. We're not going to back out of the gig because it's a nice spot. We need some songs that could be played on one guitar with a singer and a drummer. Preferably an electric guitar and somewhat current music because of the venue.

Any song ideas? Thanks in advance

Do you have songs already learned/written? If so, you shouldn't try to learn an entirely new setlist in a week. That's just asking for trouble.
I play guitar in a ska band.

We've got a lot of songs down that we can still do, but we just need a few more if we're gonna be good for an hour

Have you got a bassist?

Try covering something that everyone knows, always goes down well. Bowie maybe?

If you already had some songs prepared before, you could try adapting some for 1 guitar. That way you don't have to go and learn new songs in just one week.
