Hi! This is my first guitar and I am interested in an acoustic. I have been playing piano for four years and I like to take guitar chords and play them on piano. These are some models I have looked at. (all used)

Save your money, buy something with a solid top.

Play it before you buy it.

How would I know that it has a solid top?

Ask? If you're confined to looking online, normally the advertisement or description will say whether it's a "solid" (solid wood) or "laminate" (plywood) construction.
Some guitars will have laminate sides and back and a solid top, others will be "all solid".

The important piece is the top, the main vibrating surface of the instrument. That's how my Taylor is made, it has laminate sides and back, and a solid top. Sounds great.
(of course, there are laminates and laminates.... The stuff Martin and Taylor use is a high-quality composite)
Anyway the best advice is to go to a shop and look at instruments in your price range. Even if you're not an experienced player, you should have a preference as to sound and feel. Remember, you're there not to please the salesman, but yourself.

good quality solid top guitars from a reputable dealers. i don't know the dealer you're listing your guitars from - they may be a great store, but i've had many positive experiences from and i've never heard of any issues with maury's although he doesn't ship out of the u.s.

i'm a big fan of blueridge guitars. i find their solid top guitars have a rich sound most guitars in their price range don't have.

I think by "high-quality composite" you mean "formica made of wood chips and epoxy that runs through an ez-bake oven before being turned into bollocks guitars."
