So, why is there not a "Frank Zappa Only" thread? Maybe we start that one up? He was seriously one of the most unique and important guitarists EVER! Someone back me up on this! Let's speak Frankly for a bit, shall we?

A single thread cannot contain the awe that emenates from the late Frank Zappa. Hell, it can't even contain the glory of his 'stache!

But the man was for freedom of expression, so I don't see why not!
Some people use quotations,
Some people are just perverse,
Some people have ironic machinations,
But I'll just break into verse!

His playing is so far beyond me. Honestly, I take a song like "Sexual Harrassment In the Workplace" which seems like a standard blues progression and figure, "Yeah, if I really sit and listen I'm sure I can figure out some of his solo...Yeah, no. Not happening. His phrasing and sense of time were so bizarre. And his tone was awesome! How does he still go unnoticed by so many??

Seriously, everyone on this board should get a copy of "Guitar" and just throw on the headphones and have your mind blown!
