I've always been interested in synthesizers and synth pedals and modulation on guitar, this one caught my eye, it's a Roland GR-500, I don't believe their in production anymore and I can't seem to find one for sale anywhere.

It's the same guitar Chuck Hammer used on David Bowie's Ashes to Ashes and a few Lou Reed albums, etc. I was wondering if anyone has actually ever seen or played one of these and would know how much they would go on sale for. This is probably the one and only guitar I would straight up kill for.
Well since they're from 1977, I'm guessing they have been out of production for quite a while now

One thing, though. Sure, the GR-500 has quite a bit of charm, but this technology has progressed since 1977 (note how the Wikipedia page describes the accuracy as 'iffy'). If you can do without the vintage appeal, something like a Roland VG-99 will be a far better unit.
You've read it, you can't un-read it!
