Yeah, generally things for guitar (amps, effects etc) don't adapt well to the lower frequencies of bass. There may be some exceptions, but I've certainly never heard of them. I would stick to a wah that was specifically designed for bass

If you mean using bass through a normal Crybaby, no.
If you mean using bass through a bass Crybaby, yeah.

Also look at the Ibanez, Morley and Snarling Dogs for good wahs.
