5th April 1994, Kurt Cobain committed suicide by shooting himself in the head at his home in Seattle. Cobain’s body wasn’t discovered until April 8, by an electrician who had arrived to install a security system, who initially believed that Cobain was asleep, until he saw the shotgun pointing at his chin. A suicide note was found.

It is spelled, Kurdt, Satchmo...

You are EXTREMELY WRONG! I have played it. I own an 18W and it would be an awful stereo amp, it's way too bright, breaks up too easily and so on. Secondly, why would a guitar store sell an hifi amp.

Prepare yourself. There will be many of these coming...

I for one have always been a fan. RIP Kurt.

These nouns are often used with a form of "to be" rather than "to have," e.g., "he is pwnage" rather than "he has pwnage". Either is a more emphatic way of expressing the simpler "he pwns,"

Oh, that ****er who made seattle synonymous with a genre of music that was only cool for 3 years.

But, what is cool, really? Grunge wasn't even a genre. And those four bands are still pretty "cool".

You're right, it was much better when Seattle was synonymous with rain and one stupid building.

Yeah because Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden didn't really contribute to the stereotype either. Face it, Seattle is grunge's birthplace and it wasn't just Kurt. I'd be proud honestly.

Yeah, pretty much. The only decent thing Nirvana ever did was Unplugged and that was because of the covers. Anyone who hasn't already listened to all three of their studio albums should, if only to boost confidence in their own songwriting.

That said, Cobain is a musical icon and wrote a couple of good songs in his time so he deserves my respect. R.I.P.

Bands & Artists?!?!?!
---> https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4

Ever heard of it?!?!

I'd say that since it's not really about the band but rather a tradition of remembering a music icon's death day it's valid to put it in the Pit. Also, let's face it, Nirvana completely changed the way rock music was regarded by mainstream media and paved the way for hundreds of other bands. Say what you will about Nirvana, they had a huge impact and their legacy was only cemented into history by Kurt's suicide/planned murder.

Then again I'm not a Pit mod so I can be proven wrong.

And now here's something we hope you really like:
