I just bought jet city's 20 watt combo amp because it ships quicker than the stack does. I know the combo is the exact same as the stack. i was wondering if their will be a difference in tone between the two though.

Yup. The combo is lower gain, more classic rock-sounding. The combo is based on the Soldano Astroverb 16, while the head is based on the Atomic 16. According to some engineer from Jet City, anyway.

It's just different. Like I said, it's a little cleaner. It's like a vintage Marshall instead of a hotrodded Marshall. It should still sound great for Pink Floyd type stuff.
