I have this old nylon string classical guitar that needs new strings. Problem is that I've never changed the strings on it (got it about 5 years ago when I was just starting out) so I have no idea what strings to get. I also dont have the slightest clue as to how string gauges work on nylon strings. Could any of you clarify this and possibly give me some suggestions on what strings to get?

Thx.

I use Savarez High Tension Strings on mine. They generally give a strong bright tone and last a bit longer than most other types.

what is the difference between high, medium and low tension strings? do guitars require a setup when changing between them?
