So ebony or Heritage cherry burst on a les paul (without pickguard but with cream/chrome hardware and the original kluson pearloid style tuner machine heads) and go....and tell why if you care to

Flamed maple top? Cherry burst. I think Ebony really needs a cream pickguard, otherwise its boring.

no not flamed maple....heres the guitar I'm buying but am torn on the color....DON'T RECOMMEND THE WINE RED :P

Heritage cherry burst. I've always liked that - it's classic. When I think of a Les Paul, that's the image that comes to mind (even though I own a goldtop).

I love the cherry, though I prefer the way it looks on my Epi LP Custom with the flametop and gold hardware.

On that guitar I think I prefer the wine! Hehe.
