Hey guys, I'm hunter. I have a series of questions.
1. What type of strings do you guys prefer for the eletric guitar?
2. What amp might yall prefer for the "Metal" sound?
3. What type of strings do yall prefer for the acoustic guitar?

Ignore my last post, it's late and I thought I was in the Pit, sorry :X

1. I use DRs for one of my guitars and D'Addarios for the other.
2. A lot of people here would recommend a 5150. I personally recommend a Peavey Ultra, cheap and sounds great.
3. Dunno, sorry.

Thats a very vague answer for an amp ha. People will argue but it seems like the industry standard for near top of the line is along the lines of 6505/Dual rec. As for the strings, I have tried D'add, DR, Slinkys, Dunlops and who knows what else. Im still really looking for my perfect set. Its kinda hard because my guitar is in Drop C and I have yet to find a set with a decent F string
what kind of palm muting is best for metal?
cut off some guys hand and place it under the strings. brutal low end bro.

I've been using Ernie Ball since the day I was born.
Right when I slipped out of my mother's vagina, my dad handed me a package of Ernie Balls Super Slinky's and a MIA Fender Strat and said, here son... String this guitar.
And the Lord did grin, and people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large --
..I was watching my death.

You can buy whatever guitar you want, you don't have to be at a certain skill level to buy one. This is real life, not some guitar-playing RPG where you have to unlock new guitars.
