Not sure how 'metal' we can call these guys, but I have a feeling they would fit more appropriately in this forum than any other.

They are a 3-piece from Norway, who have been described as a mix of Talking Heads and Voivod (I don't think that does them justice). I would put them under the avant-garde category because I don't think describing them as progressive really fits, either.

They had one full-length before their most recent release that I would say was more about them finding their sound, but their latest, The Agent that Shapes the Desert, is a masterpiece.

Edit: The vocalist is the same Czral who played drums on Cadaver's newest album as well.

That's one awfully inconvenient way of expressing the word "wind".

The music itself didn't keep me interested at all.
I’m not the man I used to be, I... I can’t go back to Arkham.

I... I should return to Arkham.

Among the churchyard’s mouldering stones I recognise a name – my own.
I have come home to Arkham.

Metal has a habit of that. After all, isn't a Cannibal Corpse just a zombie?
