Im trying to get some distorted lows for my guitar tone i want lows but i want my highs seperated from the distotion is there any way to do this with the equilizer on my amp or is there a pedal that will help me

What would you use that for? It would sound like an utter mess I'm afraid.

Use an A/B/Y pedal, from that a high-pass into one amp and a low-pass into another one.


Also, I think you're probably on crack. Check that first.

Can you tell us any genres or bands you like the tone of and would like to emulate?

Are you trying to say you want your E-D to be distorted and your G-e to be clean?

Why the hell would you want to do that?

Okay first off I'm high on life you should try it
And secondly thanks for the help i got close with my fender squirer strat and my amp but it didn't quite have the punch i needed :

i still don't understand what are you talking about. are you saying you want to play low notes distorted and high notes clean or something?
