It seems that my high E likes to go WAY out of tune after a few hours of playing while all other strings stay fine with just a little adjustment.

Would i have to adjust the saddle on the high E? Ive never really had this problem til recently.

Any help would be awesome. thanks

does it do it several times after re-tuning? if it does its probably an issue with the nut not holding the string in place.

Pluck the high e and and press on it behind the nut, if it changes pitch, than the nut is slipping.

Just tried that and nothing.

My B string stays in tune but my E is out of control. it slowly makes its way out of tune until i cant adjust it anymore
