Yeah, the list is already pretty much finished. I'd put Velvet Underground in also, not because they were indie, but because indie bands love them.

I agree with all the above, but I'll throw in REM because they really opened the door for indie.

The Fall as well maybe? Not the most I guess, but pretty influential.

edit: Actually, probably Joy Division, considering the number of "dark" indie bands around, particularly 2008-2010 sort of time.

REM. Influenced the music of alternative while at the same time allowing it to break through by becoming so popular.

There's no huge Grunge breakthrough without REM.

I agree with all the above, plus theres probably too many to actually put into a list.
