When a string pops (like the e string) to you change out all of your strings or just the one that popped?
#2
Personally i change em all. If you're buying a new set of strings, why wouldn't ya just change em all?

I change all of them, unless I just put on a new pair.

Thanks for the quick feedback guys.

Yeah, these strings are really old, really surprised they lasted this long. I'll change all of them.

You guys ever been to a real music shop? Guitarcenter doesn't count.

just change them all, cause when you open a packet the strings that you dont change, the ones still in the packet lose their fress sound.

Guys, just to clear this up. You can very much buy single strings. Now maybe, by chance, your local music store doesn't buy in single strings but most do. For example, I often break a 9 gauge string when restringing, therefore I buy my pack and 2 extra 9's for €1 each just to be safe.
Can we just leave it there?

Strange, I also accidentally says "pair of strings" even though they don't come in a pair. They come in sets of 6
