What you really need is a new amp.
Guitars:
- Gibson SG Standard
- Lag Roxane 500
- Eastwood Hi-Flyer
- Takamine EG523

Amplifiers:
- Jet City JCA50H
- George Dennis 60Watt The Blue Combo
- Marshall SuperBass 100Watt

Black Sabbath's tone is a Marshall-y amp with a treble booster in front, Led Zeppelin's fuzz tones are not really Big Muff sounding.

But if you like it, get it.

well a new amp is out of the question just to poor. I dont like the clean marshall sound but the dist is sick. ANd i love the clean of develle but a fist act amps distortion is better than the deville. Id rather find a pedal than loss big time on my amp. i Like the double muff. 60 bucks u cant beat it

IM just looking for a nice classic grit. Was looking at the double muff or mxr dist 3 both around 60 bucks

Poor mans Big Muff = DOD FX52 Classic Fuzz. Currently selling at about $10-$30 plus shipping off eBay.

Run it on a cheap battery at just under 8v.

Run a overdrive in front with the fuzz dialed back.

Add a Compressor/Sustainer and/or use with an EQ pedal.

I'm just curious as to why you would care to reproduce that tone?

Most people playing Paranoid covers don't even shoot for that sound either. They modernize it. And any amp with distortion should be able to get that sound.
