Exactly as the title says.

A little while back I found on some site a subwoofer that instead of making sound it literally shaked. It took the bass frequencies, amplified them then turned it into mechanical energy.

The only thing I can recall is that they were grey, good for simulations/sound systems, and made in the U.S.A.
[Also they had to be bolted onto a platform as to not bounce and destroy everything]

Anyone have an idea what im talking about?

Planning on using on in addition to my current 600w system.

no, i think he is referring to this:

he's got a Pokemon in his avatar, so that has to be what he means.
There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

^^ hhmm no.

The ones i saw were enclosed and had no openings except for their respective inputs. Also they were kinda pill shaped (except for their mounts on the base).

EDIT: Yes that ^^.

Not that exact one but it's what im looking for. Thanks mate.

2nd Edit: Apparently they're called Tactile Transducers.

I was trollin a little before with that vibration comment, but damn I really need one of these. Would be excellent to put next to my couch for when I'm baked listening to music.

I was confused also, but after seeing the site you linked, that's actually a pretty good idea for a well built home theater.

For some reason I thought of Car Audio first, so that's what threw me off....
