dunlop wah
danelectro fab tone distortion
boss eq
boss compressor
digitech whammy

im looking into getting a chorus and maybe an ibanez tube screamer
if i did have all my gear in my sig, id have to change it weekly

"Well why didn't you pull out your boobies?"
"You were busy, I didn't think that would matter."

Experiment, find out a sound you like. Seems like the best way since tone is subjective to that specific person.

Think about what each will see, and what each will send signal too to try and get a feel for what should go where. Example, Compression is used to even out the volume fluctuations, add clean sustain, etc. Something like that wants to see your clean guitar signal. Something like a Reverb is supposed to emulate the sound of your amp being played in a larger room than it actually is, so you'd want that to be placed towards the end.

Those are just two easy to explain examples off the top of my head, but that's how I approach my pedal arrangements, and I'm pretty happy with my tone.

Boss has an article on their web site on that.

A starting point at least. But not anything written in stone. I don't follow it 100%.
Experiment. A LOT.

IMO, the only thing written in stone is tuner always goes first.

What amp are you using? You probably want to invest in a noise gate, just a heads up.
