First off, I'm sick of people saying, "Go to the As I Lay Dying Thread."

To make sure I wasn't insulted, I search for such a thing and couldn't find it, which is why I'm making this thread.

Once I get a substantial answer, I'd be happy to delete the thread.

My question is: I've been playing a lot of AILD recently, and am curious as to what types of scales they use for their solos and lead parts.

Any answers would be really appreciated. Thanks

My guess is major and/or minor scale. I could be wrong, but I'm confident I'm right.

I imagine they use the natural minor scale mostly.

TIP: In future, use the search function, not the search bar. Look at where the search bar is, and look along to the left. See where it says "search"? Click on that and change the setting to "show results as threads" instead of posts. Gets far better results than the search bar.
