Though they are good instruments for the price as stated above.

The best comparison would be Epiphone and Gibson price-wise.

I have played loads or Rockbasses and they all played and sounded great. I just didn't like the looks.

That said, my next new bass will be a fretless, five string Rockbass Alien.
