I think It's only possible when the bass has the right tone or effects.

Example would be Schism or the solo bit from Orion. Can't really think of any other times where this happens. Anyone know of some?

Alien Ant Farm's cover of Smooth Criminal has some cool bass/guitar Harm at the end.

I have heard some more recently but I cannot remember who, I think it was some Doom bands like Witch Mountain or Boris.

And Justice For All album.

In Disturbed's "Inside The Fire", it happens right after the solo. I don't know what you would call that part though?

John and Dan (bass and guitar players) call it the "up a fret up a fret up a fret up a fret up a fret UP A FREEEEEETTTTTT!" part.

Unison is a type of harmony.

/pedantry.

Edit: To clarify, I'm not being serious, I just felt like being a douchy pedant for a moment.
Only play what you hear. If you don’t hear anything, don’t play anything.
