well i've been playing guitar for almost three years now.
and i want to perfect sweep picking for some reason, i dont know why hah.

so i need some feedback!
one is without any effects, and one is with reverb/delay.
sorry for the horrible recording quality..

slow down..
don't try sweeping at speeds that you can't perfect.

work on sweeping at slower speeds and even smaller shapes.
don't increase either until you're satisfied with the results of the more simplistic speeds and shapes.

right now, it sounds like you're trying to sweep more than you can. I bet if you took out a couple strings or dropped the speed down a fair bit that it'd be much more clean and accurate.

Remember. It isn't about how impressive it is. It's about what sounds best musically.

Just work your way up to the speeds you want to reach.
It'll be worth it when you can play fast speeds and large shapes without a problem.

Slow down, you should only speed up when you can maintain it perfect with a metronome at slower speeds

Thanks for the feedbacks! <3

how much should I set the metronome to?

'unfortunately, the playing speed on the video is the same speed as how its played in songs
so i do need to start slower hahh

and is there any other shapes of sweep picking that you guys can introduce me to

another thing~
if you notice in the video, my pick sweeps on the 24th fret, or around it, instead of at the far end of the bridge.
there's nothing wrong with that right? i just do it to get a cleaner sweep tone.
so i was just wondering ^^
