I just want to double check something real quick:

I have a Fender acoustic and the hole for the truss rod is toward the body, somewhere under the 20th fret.

If I want to increase the tension in the rod, and therefore decrease the relief of the neck I have to turn the thing... clockwise, i.e. toward the higher strings. Right?
Dear God, do you actually answer prayers?

Yes, but only in a way indistinguishable from random luck or the result of your own efforts.
Honestly IDK i just answered cause this was the first threat i saw. If it were me I would turn it 1/4 to 1/2 turn right... Then look at the neck closeley and see what happend. Turn back same distance if it was wrong.
