the gibson site lists so many variations of the es335, what are the differences between all of them?
here are some of them :
1959 es-335 dot reissue
50th anniversary 1960 es-335td
es-335 dot figured gloss
es-335 dot plain gloss
es-335 dot fat neck
es-335 block inlay
1963 es-336 block inlay

there are no specs on the website.

I believe they're all pretty much the same except for cosmetic changes, until you get into the fat neck...which seems pretty obvious.

In the end, the only question is: what bass would Jesus play?

I think he's a Fender Jazz guy.
