So my band has an opportunity to split rent for a one floor studio building with a friend of ours (a recording engineer) for $250 a month. We would get free recordings and the building has heat/air conditioning. 3 outta 4 of my band members are employed though we make min wage. So what say you pit? Good idea?

Yes, $250 sounds way too low, there's probably asbestos on the ceiling but, go check it out.. If you can afford it , go for it definitely..
I put a dollar in a change machine. Nothing changed.

Reminds me of that drunkard who ran out of beer... he was so desperate, he drank furniture polish.

He came to a horrible end... but a beautiful finish.

Then definitely go for it, if after a few months you see yourselves struggling bail out :P
