Hey, I bought some new speakers for my 4X12 and want to wire as a mono cab with a line in and a line out (so like normal). It used to be a stereo cab so it has one stereo jack with three lugs and one mono jack with two lugs. Both are Cliff jacks. I was wiring it like below. I am using the stereo jack as the "out" jack. I am just not using the center lug since Cliff jacks are: lug closest to nut=sleeve, lug furthest from nut=signal.

If I can't do this than I will just ditch the "out" and wire it still in series/parallel with only an "in."

What's your question? Stereo jacks work fine with mono plugs. The ring contact in the middle will just be part of the sleeve instead, so there's no problem using it as long as you disregard the middle contact.

That was the question, whether or not I could by just skipping the middle lug... Thanks!!! Never used Cliff style jacks before, always the open ended "regular" ones.
