I've seen a Powerball on eBay for a price I'm willing to pay, but unfortunately at the moment my budget only extends that far. I do however have a Peavey Valveking (100 watt 2x12), would this be sufficient for the head to be powered through for the time being?
Funny words.

Yeah, you could unhook the speakers from the Valveking power amp, hook some jacks on to the speaker ends(the Valvekings use quick disconnects for their speaker wiring) and plug your Powerballs speaker out into that jack.

Just make sure you match impendence, I think the 212 is 16 ohms like the 112.

What's the wattage of the powerball? If the impedance matches and the wattage of the speakers is at least as much as the head, then you should be good to go.

Because no where did you say that the Powerball was 100W. That's why.

Cool, the Powerball is deadly. Some people say it has trouble being heard, or cutting through with other guitar amps playing. Which can be true if you have the mids turned down too low.

I have mine set at 8 ohms, they are 16 ohm speakers but I think they're wired in parallel, I'm not positive because I'm not good with wiring but I've had mine set at 8 ohms for almost two years with no problems.

You still didn't explicitly say that you were referring to the powerball. I had thought you were referring to the valveking. Maybe I'm just a bit thick.
