im trying to sing death metal and my throat doesnt hurt when i sing but after a few mins, after i stoped my chest starts to hurt alittle and my throat feels sore. also im not sure if im singing from my diaphram or not i dunno how.does this only happen if you sing using vocal cords or am i singing from diaphram? and the top of my stomach also feels sore.
So alone...So lost inside...

If you were singing from your diaphragm your throat wouldn't hurt.

I remember reading that you sorta have to beat up your throat to be able to handle the stress, or something. diaphragm though, lots of it.

actually just go to the singing forum
