The Portuguese guitar or (Portuguese: guitarra portuguesa) is a plucked string instrument with twelve steel strings, strung in six courses comprising two strings each. It has a distinctive tuning mechanism.

In some of that guys other videos, he shows the fingerpicks used to play this music- its like a nail extension that actually sits under the fingernail and its bound to the finger with tape or gauze or something. Crazy!
