Hi

Lately I play bass along with CD's and an USB stick on my stereo system.
I'm wondering if there is a method to mix the sound of the stereo and the bass together so I could hear them both through the headphone I have for my amp. I use it a lot because I like playing at night when everyone is sleeping.

Perhaps it's a silly question but I'm a newbie so...

thanks

Some amps (like mine) have an MP3 Player port, that u can plug up ur music to, and play along with. both ur bass, and ur music can be heard thru the headphones

I don't think my amp has an mp3 player port. It's a Marshall MB30.
I only see ports for those thick guitarcables, it has a CD IN port but it's the same size port as the one for the input of the bass.

Get a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter, if it really is a CD input.. then plugin a 3.5mm jack, into the adapter, into the CD input.

Tada!
There's a good chance that what I've written above is useless and if you take any of the advice it's your own fault.
