I was looking at an RG2228, and I saw it had the Edge 3 bridge, and went uh-oh. Is it still alright? Is just the trem version bad?

edge 3 is a floating bridge

if you set it up correctly and dont abuse it to much its a decent trem
important word being DECENT

if you use it alot of expect to be doing vaiesque wammy tricks it will have a short life span2-3 years

ive had one for 3 years and its fine

The Edge 3 on the RG2228 is a fixed bridge.

What people MEAN to say, is the RG2228 has an Edge 3 that comes blocked from the factory.

Fail.

Its fine, it is like Arterial says, its just a completely fixed bridge built around the edge 3 design, it works perfectly as a hardtail.
