i know it is possible . the ohm frequencies are the same but is it good for my cab? because i heard that you need the double in watt for your cab ...

grtzz
-fender stratocaster deluxe - Mexican
-spider line 6 , 50watt 2x 12'
-ashdown fallen angel tube amplifier. 60 watt head , 130 cabinet 36RL premium duette tubes
range of effects : EHX, boss, artcore,line 6 ...

well you can but if you crank it to 11 it might get damaged but if your no where near the max volume that should be fine

and i think the safe wattage is times 1.5of your amp and ive never had anything blow up on me

Mate so long as the watts are the same or higher on the cab than the head then you will be fine

you'll be fine. if ever in doubt though, check the owners manual for your head. they're full of answers

Yes, you can.

you can even use a lower watt cab, but take one of the power tubes out then, else it will blow into a billion pieces

Dont take that too literally.
