Indeed.
OP = Thread Starter.

TS = Opening Post.

Remember these things.

Critique 4 Critique. (Crit 4 Crit)

Basically: You comment on someones picture/mp3/video. And in return, that person does the same for you.

+1

In fact, I even go and say that OP primarily refers to Original Poster. ["OP is a faggot", etc]

Therefore, TS and OP are interchangable.

And to further back me up, I just checked urbandictionary and the most common entries for OP are indeed Original Poster and not Opening/Original Post.

Close thread [because their post is the best answer].

Based on HTML tags which close with a /.

eg <html> </html> <img> </img>
The slash closes the tag. So in this case it means the thread is closed [not literally of course, its just a way of saying that the discussion is over because this post answers everything].

TS stands for "tiger semen", the second most prevalent fluid in Charlie Sheen.
The UG Awards exist only to instill me with existential doubt.

"I have good eye-sight, insight, and foresight. How could an
intelligent hare make such a silly mistake?"

No, the fun in trolling new players is to say the whole sentence, and therefor sound like you really mean it.

This. However, one'll notice where the abreviation OP is used to describe a person or a chunk of text.

Like
"OP is too long!"
"OP should consider the purchase of an amplifier"
