I'm currently working on this and I think that its turning out really well. The unfinished parts are the bass and some of the keyboard. So far we only have keyboard on the intro and verses. Please leave feedback and i'll gladly return it. Also leave some crit on the vocals if you have any. Thanks

I like it, it definitely sounds like melodic death metal.

The vocals were pretty good, they fit the genre well, it reminds me of Kalmah in their days before The Black Waltz (which I like). I thought the guitars sounded kind of fizzy, and didn't sound "beefy" enough. The bass drum is also hard to hear, especially during the fast double bass parts. Other than that though, the solo was pretty cool, and the lead tone for the solo was pretty good.

you need to scream way louder. your screaming from your chest at moderatly loud voice which is correct, but your also using a little of your throat, it sounds like, to muffle the sound. Think of something your really pissed at and pretend yelling at it instead of the microphone. Then the CONVICTION (idk) will be there.
All your audio was clear, but it didn't sound like you had any effects like master, eq, compressor, get mixcraft or something and it will improve you a lot. Your an excellent guitar player dude, nice work.

Sorta cool, but I didn't likte the mix. Mainly, I think that the vocals need to be turned up a bit, and also, you only really hear the snare drum from the drum kit, so I would turn that up a bit.

Reminds me of Duskfall (if you've ever heard of them?), pretty good stuff. The solo had some cool ideas too, but I think that it would benefit from a tad more expensive production, even tought it's death metal and I can understand if you're going for a un-produced sound since it fits the genre.

There are plenty of factors that go into a great recording. The overall sound seems dull to me. It hinders the quality of music shining, if the audio quality does not do the performance justice.

It's hard to say what is contributing to that. It could be your gear, methods of recording, mixing, etc. One thing that helps a lot is mastering. Did you master that recording? It doesn't sound like it, it has a pretty raw sound.

As far as the writing itself goes, I love keyboards with heavy music, so I say keep with that theme! But, the keys are pretty loud. It overpowers everything else, at least to my ears.

Here's an example of one of my own recordings. It was just recording on my computer at home, with not horrible, but not fantastic gear. So, maybe it can give you some ideas to what you can strive for. I am more tech/prog/shred than death metal, but it's still in the ballpark, haha. I'd love your feedback too!

Ok thanks ill check it out. I think its because its still missing all the bass and some keyboards its sounds pretty unfinished (because it is lol) but ill take into consideration everything and once I have everything recorded ill work on truly mastering it.

No it was mainly that. I think it sounds good otherwise, and of course the bass.
