I think you are best off with a fake tie, a hat, hair in front of your eyes, a pick, any Fender Strat or Gibson LP and an amp with 'emotion-enriched playing capabilities maaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnn'

Honestly, that's the advice I was given once.

But in any case, I wouldn't play folk music with a Mockingbird. It's much more suitable for metal. The entire brand is primarily targeted to metal, actually. I would take a look at something like a Fender Jazzmaster, that would be the best, I think.
