FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Police are questioning the father of a 2-year-old boy who claims his son somehow got a hold of a pistol and shot the toddler's mother to death. The father called 911 after the shooting and said the child had somehow accessed his 9 mm semiautomatic and accidentally fired it, killing the boy's mother. Miramar Police have said the father has a concealed weapons permit for the firearm.

I can't think of a much more embarrassing death than being killed by a 2 year old.

Now now, we all know that this is acceptable.

After all, whatever would the family have done if a terrorist came into the house and they didn't have their semi-automatic pistol?

That's sad. I have a feeling there might be more to this story though.

Yeah, I think it was the dad. Kinda like in the Lion King when the Uncle blames Simba for killing his father... hahaha

No matter what, the father is responsible. Either he was being negligent and allowed a 2 year old to gain access to a firearm, or he is not telling the truth.

Still doesn't change my opinion on guns though.

I don't believe that. A toddler wouldn't have the strength to pull the trigger.

That's what I was thinking. Dad's just trying to trade murder charges for child endangerment.

What kind of spineless asshole do you have to be to try and frame your two year old son for murder?

You, good sir, have not gone over to your friends house after a hard night of drinking to find 2 dudes passed out in the same room both holding their own flaccid cocks in hand, passed out, with porn on the tv.

Daddy killed mommy and blamed it baby. He is should have framed someone that made sense.

IF the baby actually did this, the father is still to blame, even the most inexperienced gun owner should know to at least keep the gun(s) out of the reach of children, like on a high shelf, or in a gun safe where they belong. This is just ignorant negligence... if the baby is to blame that is...

I fixed your sig for you. All you have to do is add the last bracket at the end.

You obviously don't want to discuss the issue at hand...

He's the dad.

I have an 8 month old niece, and have almost no doubt she's strong enough to pull the trigger. Lift the gun though? Probably not, maybe at 2 years. But who knows, crazy shit happens. It was most likely the dad though.

Does anyone actually believe that a two year old kid could just "accidentally" get his hands on a semi-automatic handgun, switch the safety off, pull the trigger and kill someone? I mean, it's not like the gun was just lying around, the guy was carrying it. Obvious frame-up is obvious.

People aren't that smart man. Maybe the dad put it down on a low table and has the safety off. All the kid would have to do is reach up there and squeeze. Just trying to stay open-minded.
