(Considering we have no TV thread, I am sort of faced to make my own thread despite me not really thinking this deserves one)

In our house, we have 4 panasonic viera flat screen TVs. All of them are 1080p except the one in my room which is 720p.

However, after hooking up my computer's graphics card to the TV through HDMI I am able to choose 1920x1080 as a resolution and there is no graphical failure at all; as though the TV is made for 1080p.

To investigate further, I plugged in my xbox through HDMI and was able to set that to 1080p as well. Pressing info on the remote shows the TV's outputting resolution as 1080p as well.

I paid for a 720p model, but is it possible that I received a 1080p one instead? Can anyone with a panasonic viera check what their TV is outputting (there's a button on the remote labeled info)
