So out here in the midwest USA, its cold man. It just snowed again a couple days ago. Like so much that my friend had to stay at my place cause he couldnt make it to his house. Why can't it be hot like england?

Its too bloody hot here, I abhor how hot it suddenly became over the last few weeks, not to mention how the pollen count has leapt up to unbearable levels for hayfever sufferers like me. Cant wait for winter...

It's been on and off in NY. Like, 6 days ago it was 70, then a few days later it was snowing. And we're on spring break right now, and it's been freezing. As soon as we go back to school it's supposed to be in the 80's though. Figures...

You guys don't know shit about cold unless you live in the northeastern region of the US. We have the misfortune of living by the Great Lakes, so the winters blow more dick Andy Dick.

Stfu. Cold to you Brits is like rainy & 10C. To us, cold is -20F (-29C). So, suck it up, cupcake.

And I win the coldest fucking Winter competition. It's regularly -30F in the Winter. I worked outside in that shit one year. Was fucking ridiculous. The airport didn't even close down when we had a snowstorm. That's how damn crazy Minnesota Winters are.

Indeed! Past that one day it's freezing and the next day it's roasting. We're jumping from 50's one day to 80's the next and back.

When it the weather goes snow one day, rain the next, then hot, then snow again, it pisses me off. Extreme temp changes like that screw with my allergies and sinuses

The climate of Mexicali, because of its low annual precipitation is an arid climate (BWh). Under the criteria for the Köppen climate classification, Mexicali maintains desert climate temperatures every year. Every year the temperatures reach from 0°C in winter, with frost and fog, to 45° C in the shade in the summer. The hottest temperature ever recorded was 57 ° C in July 2001, considered the highest in the country, being home to the 4th hottest part of the world. In December 12, 1932, the city experience snowfall. Rainfall usually occurs in the winter months of December, January and February. Although summer is extremely dry in Mexicali, one of every two days there is an end moisture content. In 2008, during the months of July and August there were several heavy thunderstorms that let down large amounts of rain and hail. This is somewhat unusual in that the summer rainfall in the city is infrequent. During winter time, Mexicali is affected by the snows that occur in the town of Rumorosa located in the Sierra de Juarez, about 45 minutes west of the city, causing decreases in temperature in the urban area lasting from 2 days to 1 week.

That's where I live. 4th hottest place on earth.

Amen to that man. I used to live up in Hibbing, and the winter of '88-89 was wicked. It got to -60F. I recall it clearly because I was in college at the time and had to get to the school because of finals so I was trying to get my car started. Had the battery out overnight, pulled the sparkplugs and had them in the oven ready. I used a torch to dry out the cylinders then put the hot spark plugs in as fast as I could. Still could only bear to be out for like 5 minutes tops it was so nasty. Finally got the old girl running, not good, but made it to school to take finals.
I should mention that there was no wind that morning. It was utterly calm, really tranquil actually. As I was working on my car, I kept hearing people talking nearby but couldn't see anyone. I asked them where they were, in a normal volume too. They said they were at such and such an address. I said no shit!!! Walk out into the road and look this way, and I did the same. We were like 4 blocks away from each other and we could talk like we were standing side by side. Dense cold air made the sound travel awesome.
Plus all this, here it can get up to 100F in the summer. That's a 160F temp shift season to season. Unless you're from Siberia, you haven't a clue.

/tldr: Minnesota Winters Suck!!!
